Halfway is a personal finance app for couples and spouses who don't earn the same. Instead of splitting shared expenses 50/50, Halfway calculates a proportional split based on each partner's income, so both contribute the same percentage rather than the same dollar amount. The app keeps personal spending private while providing full transparency on shared expenses. Founded by Shashank Imarati, Halfway is free to use with no ads and no data sales. Premium features include automatic bank sync, an AI financial assistant called Penny, and free 1:1 sessions with a registered financial advisor. The app is available on iOS and Android in English, Spanish, and French.
