Overview

My favorite to-do app was Apple-only, and work gave me a Windows laptop. The alternatives I tried came with boards, labels, filters, AI assistants, and team workspaces. I spent more time setting them up than doing the work, so I built my own. TaskPocket is small on purpose: it has an inbox, projects, and areas that group projects. There's nothing to configure. You type tasks the way you'd say them: "water the plants every other Saturday at 10am" sets the date, the repeat, and a reminder. No AI inside, but there's a public API and an MCP server, so you can connect Claude or ChatGPT to your tasks. It works on any browser and iPhone. No teams or Android support yet. Free plan, no card needed.
